• All emails for current projects are stored on secure devices controlled solely by The Werd Nerd.

• Files are backed up regularly to an external hard drive stored in a secure location.

• All project-related files and emails for past projects are stored as stated above.

• The Werd Nerd does not use cloud storage, unless upon request.

Personal Data

• The Werd Nerd collects your personal data (as defined under the GDPR) to provide you with editing/proofreading services and for communications relevant to specific projects.

• The Werd Nerd retains your data for internal accounting purposes and in compliance with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) should an audit be requested (for tax purposes).

• The Werd Nerd collects your data directly (when you provide your contact information or other personal details).

• The Werd Nerd will not share your personal data with third parties unless expressed written permission is given to do so.
